Big Macintosh the Earthshaker

Appleloosians and a number of Buffaloes, even after the treaty, still show some resentment towards each other. Enter Big Macintosh, who, together with Granny Smith one day travelled to Appleloosa to pay a visit to their relatives. Their train however was stopped, captured and held for ransom by a number of rogue, uncooperating Buffalos. Any attempts to negotiate was quickly turned off; that is until the usually calm Big Mac, in his intention to save his fellow travellers challenged one of the bufallos to a fight. He quickly realised his mistake, for to threaten a buffalo is to threaten all of them. Thus odds stacked against his favour, Big Mac was forced to fight the buffalos all by himself. In a dazzling display of strength however, he subdued his assailant one by one.

Chief Thunderhoof arrived at the scene hoping to quell the 2 conflicting parties - to avert another conflict between the buffalos and Appleloosians, only to see that the deed was done by Big Macintosh. After scolding the rogue buffaloes and sending them back to camp to await for further punishment, Chief Thundehoof approached Big Mac, to thank him for averting the possible conflict. He bestowed upon him a gift, a large totem which Big Mac brought home as a souvenir. What Big Mac doesn't know is that the totem is enchanted; Part of an ancient artifact inherited from Thunderhoof's ancestor, the Elder Titan himself.

Thunderhoof - without Big Mac knowing - had entrusted him to become a part of their sacred warrior tradition. Big Mac will become one of them: an Earthshaker.
