Before I do anything big with animations, I decided to start small steps by testing expressions and simple movements, which is why this is made!
I'm addicted to Starcraft II...
Played AI Skirmish (still medium, mind you, I'm still new) and decided to main the Terrans. I turtle a lot
, a bad habit brought forward from me playing C&C Generals
Of the Terran Units, my favourite's gotta be the Banshee, followed by the Hellions (both I use as Supply Raiders) and the Siege Tanks (for defence). Well, looks like I put too much focus on air power everytime I play that game (air power freak). Need to try other tactics.
One thing I really love about Blizzard's RTSs is the unit portraits as well as the units "pissed off speech" when you click on them one too many times. Which is why I'm inspired to try to cross MLP and Starcraft, also to test my pony (and to that, other complex stuff) animating skills. I still suck at this
There are 9 unique response that Rainbow will give is she is clicked, ranging from normal Aw Yeahs, to angry responses. Left idle, Rainbow will perform 4 unique idle animation ranging from normal scanning to engaging the Banshee's cloak.
Responses are taken directly from MLP Cartoons (at first, i planned to do the voices myself to give the starcraft feel, until I realise that I am a man with a baritone voice
Consarn growing up... )
Well I think this is good enough, I might make the next one with Applejack as a Hellion
Or Big Mac as Siege Tank? One question though, does Twilight need to be put as a Protoss High Templar or a Terran Ghost? (Psionic)
