SL4, Reviewing purpose only...

I've been working on SL4 Animation for a while and of course, I caught many of the hilarious

moments that the OCs gone through during the first 3 pages of the comic.

I thought that its a bit difficult to express this hilariousness in animation form if I would to

stick totally to the gestures so I decided to go a step further to stress the situation, adding a more cartoonish touch to it.

But then I realise... These are OCs which are meaningful to their respective creators... Have I

gone too far in animating them in that I animate them doing some cartoon-esque gestures that might be too harsh a portrayal?

That's what I fear: Fine intentions turned bad. I fear that I might offend them in anyway

So here are some of the gestures which I find a bit harsh if I animate them that way in that

it might be harshly portrayed or something? I don't know... Please Alice2080, Shivita, Yokokinawa; if there are

some gestures here that you find as un-acceptable or those kind of feeling, tell me and I'll change it.

This is the purpose of this clip preview, for reviewing.

From top to bottom:

1. Shivita facepaws when Alice told them they're lost in the woods. (panel 1 page 1)

2. Alice, fainting after realising they're out of money to buy Food. (panel 4 page 1)

3. Yoko doing the victory dance after KO-ing Disco bear to the ground. (addition after panel 8 page 2)

4. Alice looking at Disco bear running away from the situation. (panel 10 page 2)

5. Shivita headbangs after she discovered that the job centre is on the top floor of the tree, supposedly

muttering "I hope it has an elevator" after the head-bump. (panel 12 page 2)


Sheesh... Now I somehow question my ability and credibility as an animator...




Talking about Sweet Lullaby Animation, I've decided to divide "Inside the Tree" into 2 parts.

Part one spans from the prologue to Mime's going back through the flashback. The first act will be named Catharsis or the purging of the emotions.

Part two spans from the flashback to the end, the act will come under the name Metempsychosis which means reincarnation, transmigration of the soul.

Talking about this, anybody got any suggestions for musics? I've got my lineup already, but probably a suggestion will give a second opinion
