Ahahaha, sorry for being so dead; college been quite busy that I only have little time to animate, especially that big portal project. Decided to do something smaller instead as a filler, did this instead.

Soooo, something really random... I just want to play a little logic game; I bet some of you have heard of this something known as "Around the world in Eighty Days?"

So I'll begin; First we went to Australia, then travelled to Rwanda before flying to Oman. Where should we go next?

There's something different in the atmosphere with this particular, first time Junior College Mid Year Exams; and it seems many lads here also had the same problem...

Unpreparedness, one thing that never happened to me everytime I'm about to face an exam, and yet the dreaded feeling hung around me. Doesn't mean that I haven't prepared anything; on the contrary many hours last week and before that were spent on exams preparation.

Whew, seems like they're not kidding when they said that things suddenly become exponentially more difficult around these parts.

Series Termination's going good so far except that it might be pushed to August if things aren't going so well in the background vectoring part; those backgrounds really took 40% of my time in animating

Oh well, back from class camp and had a real blast! Night walking (near total darkness, and volunteered to be the "lone wolf"), Waterfall scrambling, Abseiling, Mountain hike, and some massive amount of "talk cock" to go with it

Well to be fair, I always love that kind of activity; feels really good to take a hike through nature and enjoy the sounds that accompanies it; or when it's night time, to stare upwards into the skies and watch the stars.

Anyways, I'll be back to Malaysia this June for some Astronomy trip

Man, even if I do have one tiny issue over that last episode (which refers to how quickly Queen Chrysalis got defeated),  I have to say that I don't believe that the episode is that epic...

Gotta admit that I have some doubts about the episode; seeing how so many hyped movies or those kind fails to reach that expectations. This idea just made watching the episode that much sweeter
Remember the last time I felt similar to this way's (yes, I am really rooting for the dynamic duo when they're trapped; not quite often I did that) when watching something is Toy Story 3. (Wait... Can't compare those two considering one is a movie but the other is a episodic cartoon... Perhaps "that" one Winnie the Pooh episode I watched during my childhood can be a perfect parallel? Forgot the episode name though)

"Cavalry." Scotland Yard, I've been using that word very frequently quite recently; perhaps I do am acting a bit too much of a figurative "cavalry" as of late, almost always late to get a piece of the action... (not referring to the "just in time" cavalry, but the "just in time to be late" kind of cavalry)

Oh well, I digress. Firstly, I took the advice from you guys; release a bit of steam; which I do by watching a movie (Hunger Games) and also re-installing Age of Empires: Rise of Rome. Also did some contemplating and think through things. Thank you guys for the kindest advice, feeling much better now no longer haunted by those disturbing thoughts

Things are getting more intense here in College, what's with all the tests and experiments. I really need to lift up my lazy head and start hitting those books



As for how I'm doing for projects, I've decided to tackle this very last Portal Animation slowly and steadily (inbetween working for another group). It will take a real while, unlike the bi-weekly schedule of the last 6, as I promised myself to give it an all out for this one. Let me just give one big spoiler: Twilight plans for Revenge

Well... Have you ever feel that feeling of always wanting to push against the glass ceiling? Or that unwanted feeling of extreme competitiveness with others? Let me tell you, it is extremely unpleasant; really been bothering me for the past days.

Firstly, half of me kept on saying "You can be better than the others!" while the other half said "Slow down dude, you're being envious and that is not good!"

And to add on, somehow I started to feel that for every little improvement I made was like a drug injection; a short feeling of euphoria before it goes into a low again demanding for more. You know, that moment where previously you go "YES! I've made one small step for man" followed immediately by "That... part is kind of flawed; I should've done better..." Seriously, something is really wrong with me that I need to shake off. Any ideas?

Sorry for the unimportant, short journal; I just wanted to pour away what I think instead of storing it inside me. Don't want the worries to accumulate.

Consarnit with it... Can't believe that a week pass by so fast now I'm fearing for my life over that Econs case study homework that I haven't done yet; and the deadline is Tuesday for Pete's sake! Seriously, I feel that Time really is a harsh mistress... Too busy hugging those adorable turrets from Portal 2 (C'mon! Who would want to emancipate them?) when time rudely separates me from the comforting embrace of my family; and apple cider (2 spoonfuls of 'em with some honey, dilute it with water and add ice) back into the harsh reality of life

Oh well, long story short, back to college for me

Now about Thinking with Portals, decided to add that Fluttershy one into the list (I guess that Fluttershy with a turret or those kind might... probably be able to allow me to d'awww... I'm quite immune to cuteness *gets bricked* ), bringing it to 7, which is my Third favourite number. But due to the circumstance that I'm in -   which is college, - I might be a bit slow on the working Other than that, everything looks fine so far, hoping to bring more entertainment to you guys!

When 10 weeks here in Singapore has passed, it only meaned one thing: one term has ended And I'll be going home on a jetplane back to Indonesia for a week. Home Sweet Home, here I come!

I'm not sure about some things though; depends on whether my brothers will be aggressive in their attempts to drag me back into playing DOTA again If I can resist their pleas (Oh C'mon... they'll be having their National test in a couple months time... Time to pull back on the games brothers!) not only I'll be able to help them indirectly, but I'll have some more time to work on things I wanted to work on Failing to resist means... You got the picture



A bit about projects, decided to change the focus for the Mark 5 Portal animation into more Scientify - Portalesque instead of a versus match between the sisters. Throw in a Portal soundtrack! [link]

Now I would ask a question even if I have asked this before. After those random words you guys gave me (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!), I got an idea that can be poured into one more Portal animation. However:

Do you think I should go with my original plan of cutting it at Mark 6 (which is Twilight's Retribution Episode)

Or shall I insert one more inbetween as Fluttershy tries to cope with being alone as the 6th episode (thus ending the series at Mark 7; with Twilight of course)

Either way, I got plans for other things in between all the stuff

One final thing... I know that I enjoy working alone due to the degree of flexibility that being a lonewolf offered. But I know that this is not a good thing in a long run especially when you lack talent to do the other stuff Eeyup, I remember that one time I tried futilely to imitate Twilight's voice using Audacity to edit things. Ain't fun with this Indonesian accent in the way that the result came out as being egregiously terrible (on top of my voice being that of a high Bass) Tried Pinkie too; and it ends spectacularly... Egregious

Of course I hope that this might not be too much to ask, especially the fact that I'd hate to burden others But will it be alright if I ask if anypony can help me a little with some voice acting? I know I might be asking too much of a favour from you guys, but if you guys don't mind, please tell me about it

Well, nothing much about life, except that my sleeping disorder case has been reduced to 50%. One word to describe this personally: Elation Finally I am able to pay better attention in class! Also, astronomy is so awesome I always wonder how come I always get this feeling of excitement being able to observe Jupiter and it's moons; which appear as mere dots

Oh well, onto projects. Dividing my attention here considering that I have a few things up my list so time for personal projects has been cut a bit And about ponies with portals, I've been thinking: shall I wrap it up at Mark 6 (with Twilight of course) or should I expand on the other ponies such as Fluttershy and Rarity? If you think I should do more, I just wish to ask you guys a favour please: just leave one random word or anything that came into your mind; I wish to brainstorm a bit

No worries if I cut the Thinking with Portals at 6 though, I have other stuff in mind which are ready to be hatched as soon as I'm ready to tackle it; it will no longer be a test

Now about the Ponies with Portals... I intend to throw Cave Johnson and Caroline into the mix on Mark 5 (which I'm working on right now) to interact with the Alicorn sister. I'm not sure about the design though so I'll just [link] it up and I'll be asking for your opinions on it. Should I fix them up in anyway?

Remember the last week event where somebody impersonated me in Newgrounds? First things first, the bad news is that he's still there. But the good news is that the stolen artwork has been removed from the site; and so far there hasn't been any indication of him / her uploading any of mine works again; and of course it taught me to take precautions whenever I upload one of those things here. My friends, I cannot say how much I thank you for helping me with solving the issue; I absolutely posolutely definitely positively thank you for the helping hand back there Holy Halibut, I guess words in itself is not even enough to express my gratefulness - there must be a way to return the favour

As they say: wants refer to those things that we all will obtain if resources are infinite... Which is part of my econs study; this leads to:

JC life. So now I'm officially in JC. We haven't got any tutorials yet, but lectures so far had been quite interesting Well, that is without looking at the lecture notes which are *sarcasm mode* only some "yay" centimetres thick O_O *off sarcasm mode* Seems like my hunch about life's gonna get busy was right; but good thing that I've made quite a lot of friends in the way Now I'm really dreading for that time when I grow up and enter working life... I hope I can have an enjoyable life in College: I'm sure time is going to pass as fast as the speed at which satellites are orbiting the Earth above us --->

So well, school has officially started for me. Well, not so much on the studying part, but on the orientation, which just ended a few hours ago after 4 days of fun and chaos Lots of new friends from schools around Singapore such as St. Joseph Institution, ACSI, and such; it was a blast. What's with all those games played with my orientation group, losing your other part of your socks, wearing pajamas for the night, or when we accidentally left our symbol back at Pasir Panjang (My friend has to go there from Bishan to retrieve it...)

One thing that I noticed is that I feel MUCH more fitting into my house, which I don't feel at all back in secondary school. Eeyup, last year as part of the Hullett house, I have no clue whatsoever and don't feel a sense of belonging here. But now I feel that looks like this year's gonna be different; they put more emphasis on this inter-house competition, and that feeling of satisfaction when our house Hadley-Hullett got 3rd in the orientation games; never felt it during the secondary years Hoping that the Black Stallion (mascot of our house) will be the "dark horse" this year... Get it?

Now the orientation is over, the tough part is about to begin as we will begin regular classes starting next Monday with some lectures and stuff; wish me luck guys Life's gonna be tough here!



To other matters, I'm still on my Portal Project, which is going to take a while as it will be longer than usual. Also, I just the honour of being recruited into EquestriaRaveRadio as their animator; I hope I can prove to them that I am able to give them my support

Speaking of that, do you think I need an OC pony or something? I had this experience of rarely using my OCs for any kind of occasion; even if their personality is fully developed; and I don't want to create them just to make them sitting at the corner and grow roots...

Well which means I am back to my usual business after that painful 2 weeks without a laptop into which I can do my projects on. Back in business? Well what's with the Chinese new year holiday that actually spans for a whole week which means plenty of free time for me to do stuff. I hope that I can slave my way through planned projects, which is quite likely as I have trouble doing nothing. Oh, and mind throwing a random word or something please?

On another note, I'm thinking of buying another copy of StarCraft II for this laptop. I mean, I have SCII on my Computer back in Indonesia; which doesn't work well as I cannot connect to battlenet due to bad connection, and I didn't bring the CD due to... You know, those airport checkings and stuff. Do you think it's worth it to get another copy here in Singapore? I'm eager to try my hands on online play actually; very eager.



Now what else... Oh yeah, SOPA and PIPA. Quite relieved that the bill has been... What? Shelved? Only Shelved? Good, but not quite Excellent, the threat is still there. And of course, we also got ACTA, and now we got another one PCIP which assumes that every internet denizen is a bloody children pornographer... Unbelievable Don't know what to say, just Dagnabbit with all these "Invade their Privacy" bills...
